I'm always on the lookout for useful texts in this area; I just came across this (the pages has a series of links to longer articles by Fred Jones). I haven't read in any detail, but what do you think of it? Is it useful? Does it apply in the UK (given that it originates in the US)? Does it work with post-16 students?  23:22
