• There's a page on Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment here with a number of links; it tends towards uncritical approval as these things always do, but it is a good starting point. The book I referred to is SHARRON H (1987) Changing Children's Minds; Feuerstein's revolution in the teaching of intelligence London: Souvenir Press --now rather dated, of course, but it may still be in the library.
• The two different forms of thinking identified by Hudson--"convergent" and "divergent"--are discussed here.
• The distinction between Gf (fluid intelligence) and Gc (crystallized intelligence) originates from Cattell in 1987. As the initials suggest they are both seen as aspects of Spearman's g factor. There is a brief summary here. At the time of writing (last updated 10 Feb.) the Wikipedia article was pretty sound, but of course you can't rely on it.
• Bruner and Vygotsky (scaffolding and the Zone of Proximal Development respectively get a look in here.
